Yes its a struggle, l...Lovely comment thanks Alley.
Yes its a struggle, lots of unlearning and letting go. ANd of course, not wishing to isolate myself from so many wonderful friends of faith as well.
But of course, if they are true friends they will honour my journey :-)
Love is the only constant - and its the only thing that brings life <3Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14119042606642385750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8161899938003377748.post-19819520970660928382013-11-11T17:11:21.105+13:002013-11-11T17:11:21.105+13:00Jim I have always had very strong and very persona...Jim I have always had very strong and very personal spiritual beliefs- I am not religious and subscribe to no religion. My approach is a humanitarian one I suppose. When I was young I searched and attended many different churches and spiritual centers looking for something that aligned with how I felt. All that I encountered were limiting - they all had regulations and rules which disallowed a full expression of all the possibilities I believed in. So at the young age of 16 I made the decision to follow my heart and live how I thought I should encouraging all people to be the best they could for themselves and to work at being the best I could be. Not easy and sometimes I have forgotten to complete my practices of gratitude and acceptance. However I have been able to look at most situations compassionately and think about what is the best outcome for each individual involved and how can I help that happen. This is my spiritual path to be able to look at a whole situation and see the part we each play and to make the most of that. I am not sure how many people express their beliefs like I do as I have never sought to meet people with my belief set. I felt compelled to comment because I sense your struggle and it need not be so hard. Accepting my love of self and others helped me. Perhaps you can relate to this.Alleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15503235420270005305noreply@blogger.com
